Denis Istomin advances to second round of Swiss Indoors Basel

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the second round of tennis tournament Swiss Indoors Basel.
In the first round, Denis Istomin defeated world number 36 Jerzy Janowicz of Poland in straight sets 6/1 and 6/1.
The match lasted 55 minutes. Istomin recorded five break points and did not allow to Polish tennis player to break him. Istomin recorded 14 aces and two double faults. Jerzy Janowicz served two aces and committed seven double faulrs.
In the second round Denis Istomin will face Roger Federer of Switzerland or Gilles Muller Luxembourg.
