Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deloitte & Touche positively assessed the activities of Thermal Power Plants for 2022.

The report of Thermal Power Plants JSC and the audit report prepared by Deloitte & Touche on the basis of international financial reporting standards will subsequently be submitted to the most prestigious global rating agencies: Fitch Ratings, S&P Global Ratings, Moody's and other potential foreign investors, international consulting and legal companies.

It should be noted that the preparation and audit of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 2022 began in March 2023. The draft report was presented to the international audit company Deloitte & Touche in June.

On the consolidated financial report of Thermal Power Plants for 2022, on 16 August, a positive audit opinion was received from the international audit company Deloitte & Touche based on IFRS. It is a source of information for large foreign investors, primarily considered a financial statement prepared in accordance with IFRS and having a positive audit report from an audit company from among the Big Four. In addition, it serves as an important source of information when obtaining a rating from rating agencies, the initial placement of shares of a joint-stock company on international stock markets and attracting foreign investment from other sources.

In January 2023, Fitch Ratings assigned Thermal Power Plants JSC an international rating of "BB-" "stable".
