Chairman of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan Dilshod Musaev met the delegation of Deloitte & Touche led by curator for Central Asia and senior manager Andrei Petrov on 11 September 2009.
Musaev said he is happy to meet the delegation and interest of Deloitte & Touche to institutional reforms, carried out in economy, including valuation activity.
The Uzbek side shared information on main directions of activity of the State Property Committee, including denationalization and privatization, development of market infrastructure. Musaev provided information on improvement of valuation activity in Uzbekistan and added that it is expected that valuation services market will grow soon.
State Property Committee, regulating valuation activity, is interested in presence of the world-know international company in the market.
Andrei Petrov, in his turn, shared about the plans of Deloitte & Touche in the market of Uzbekistan. He said Deloitte & Touche is planning to open office in Uzbekistan with gradual expansion of spectrum of professional services. He expressed readiness of the company to assist in development of market infrastructure and economic reforms in Uzbekistan.
Representative of Deloitte & Touche expressed his gratitude for warm welcome and hope for further joint cooperation.
