Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the international exhibition BIOT-2022, held in Moscow, Russian Federation, the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat association visited the Paris Commune shoe factory in Moscow.

The management of the association got acquainted with the activities of the company with a century-old history. The prospects for further cooperation were discussed in detail. During the conversation, the parties stressed the importance of developing trade relations based on mutual trust between Uzbekistan and Russia in the leather and footwear sector, and also exchanged views in detail on the current state of relations that have developed in the shoe industry with Uzbek companies.

The Moscow shoe factory "Paris Commune" began its activity in 1922. It produces leather shoes based on tradition and using innovative technologies. Today the company has production facilities in 5 regions. Produces 1 million pairs of shoes per year. It provides jobs for about 100 thousand people. From 2023, the production capacity of the enterprise will be increased to 1.6 million pairs.

As noted at the meeting, the company has established close cooperation with our local enterprises. Today, Uzbekistan is considered a reliable partner of the company in the production of special footwear. Our country also provides the enterprise with tops of various models of men’s and children’s fashion shoes.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the issues of improving the skills of specialists working at enterprises in Uzbekistan and organizing the labor process using modern technologies. The Russian company stated that it is ready to cooperate in this direction.

Also during the visit, the leadership of the Association got acquainted with the production processes of the company, examined the products, their quality and the equipment used.

A decision was made to implement new projects to further expand bilateral cooperation, study commercial proposals and further increase purchases of products from our local enterprises.
