The main purpose of the visit is exchange experience and familiarization with new technologies, which in the future can be applied in the digital transformation of society and state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is planned to visit the command center of police stations in the cities of Suzhou and Shenzhen in the framework of the "Safe City" project, get acquainted with Huawei solutions in such areas as urban development and territory arrangement, use of ICT in housing and communal services based on the "Smart City" concept. The guests will also be presented with the company’s capabilities in managing emergency cases, processing and storing large data based on cloud computing.
This visit will last 5 days, during which it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Center for Development Strategy and Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent in support of the mutual interest and importance of international cooperation in development of information and communication technologies and the creation of an opportunity for local cooperation to strengthen ICT infrastructure in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is also planned to hold meetings with high-level executives of Huawei and state representatives of the People’s Republic of China.
"Our main goal is to show the Republic of Uzbekistan our readiness for cooperation and our support of the reforms being carried out in the country. Within the framework of the "Safe City" concept, we demonstrated a command center platform in a police station in one of the districts of the city of Suzhou. I hope that the delegation will receive the necessary information and will be able to exchange its experience and further introduce new solutions to the process of digital transformation of society, "said Wang Peng, director of Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent.
During the first meetings, representatives of the delegation actively participated in discussions and asked questions about the economic efficiency of the projects, and also discussed the processes of introducing new technologies in Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that two more such visits are planned this year, during which it is planned to invite representatives of the Ministry of Innovative Development and other government departments to study the experience of China in the development of ICT using the example of technologies and solutions provided by Huawei.
