Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 28th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be held from 7 to 9 May in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

This event is aimed at strengthening inter-country economic relations, improving the business climate, attracting investment and developing cooperation between the EBRD and its member countries.

In parallel with the official program, the meeting participants will have the opportunity to hold meetings and negotiations with representatives of foreign governments, international financial institutions in order to discuss joint projects and establish new business contacts.

In addition, a separate plenary session is planned on the margins of the event to highlight the transformation of economic processes, improve the investment climate in Uzbekistan, and reopen in this light opportunities for cooperation with the EBRD, where more than 120 participants are expected to attend - potential partners, heads of departments, entrepreneurs and media representatives.

The delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov will take part in the events.
