Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10-11 October, an international parliamentary conference is being held in Dushanbe to mark the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This conference aims to further expand and strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation and dialogue.
The event's main goal is to conduct a comparative analysis of national and international experiences in constitutional and legal reforms.
Additionally, the conference will explore the significance of global processes in national and international constitutional development, as well as study international experiences in promoting constitutional values within society.
Participants include the heads of parliaments from Central Asian countries, the Russian Federation, Iran, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
During the conference, a multilateral meeting took place between the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the parliamentary leaders.
At the meeting, Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva emphasized the expanding friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and the continued development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The conference will resume today.
