The delegation of Uzbekistan held meetings with the leaders of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Physical Culture and Sports, the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.

The sides exchanged views on organization of the Asian Cup and the Asian Championship in 2018 in highway discipline at the Tashkent cycle track, providing practical assistance in construction of a sports complex (velodrome) in Tashkent region to enhance the experience of athletes and coaches in the "BMX" disciplines included in the Olympic program and "Mountain bike", as well as on international cycling "Tour de Charwak Lake" in the free tourist zone "Charvak".

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the UCI, the Asian Cycling Confederation and the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan.
