Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Currently, a delegation from Tashkent Region headed by khokim Zoyir Mirzaev is in the People’s Republic of China.
In the city of Wuhan, a meeting was held with representatives of Baibuting Group Co. Ltd, during which a memorandum of cooperation was signed. The agreement with Baibuting Group Co. Ltd entails the construction of a "green" power plant in Akhangaran district. This project aims to generate electricity using solar, wind, and hydro energy sources, with an estimated total project cost of US$1.8 billion, of which US$200 million is planned for the initial phase. The power plant is expected to produce up to 2 GW of electricity annually.
Mao Yonghong, the head of Baibuting Group Co. Ltd, highlighted plans to involve more than 10 other companies in the project implementation.
In Jiangxi Province, the Uzbekistani delegation familiarized themselves with the activities of several companies and engaged in negotiations. Specifically, talks were held with CHINA TOP PORCELAIN EXHIBITION HALL, a renowned producer of porcelain products, regarding cooperation in the manufacturing sector of porcelain items. Discussions covered various aspects of potential collaboration in producing porcelain goods.
The delegation from Tashkent Region visited production lines and attended an exhibition featuring rare porcelain items. Both parties agreed to continue negotiations in Tashkent later this year.
Additionally, the delegation visited TEAM CHINA, a major enterprise producing sportswear under brands like Anta and Fila. Discussions focused on cooperation in the production of synthetic fibers for the textile industry, including proposals for synthesizing artificial and cotton fibers for manufacturing sportswear. An agreement was reached to organize a visit by Chinese specialists to Nurafshon for the implementation of this project.
The delegation also visited DA SONG GROUP in Hangzhou. During the meeting with company management, an agreement was reached to construct a modern 18-story residential building with parking on a 6-hectare plot in "Nurafshon Business City."
At HIKVISION, discussions centered on proposals for cooperation in the production of video surveillance cameras. Negotiations with Holley Group Co., Ltd, chaired by Gen Wang Lichen, resulted in agreements to create new job opportunities in cities and districts of the capital region in collaboration with Chinese companies.
Plans were made to collaborate with ZHANG JUNCHAO on a US$2 million project for the production of knitwear. Similarly, in Pskent District, investments totaling US$30 million, in cooperation with LEDUOSHOU, are aimed at commencing the production of mineral fertilizers (pesticides) for agriculture in Kuyichirchik District.
An agreement was also reached with Kaiga Biotexnologi on the production of compound feeds for livestock.
In Angren, Shandong Tongyi Ceramic Technology Co., Ltd plans to launch a project for producing artificial decorative stone, with an overall project cost of US$10 million.
Negotiations with CENTER (XINJIANG) NETWORK TECHNOLOGY Co., LTD focused on organizing production of glazed tiles, constructing a modern greenhouse complex, and producing high-quality agricultural products in Yukorichirchik District.
Lastly, talks were held with management from Royal Stars, which specializes in modern household appliances.
In Hefei, the administrative center of Anhui Province, an investment and business forum took place involving members of the Tashkent Region delegation. In his opening remarks, Hokim Zoyir Mirzaev encouraged Chinese business representatives to expand their activities in the Tashkent Region.
The event included B2B and G2B negotiations, with participation from leaders and representatives of over 120 leading Chinese companies.
