At the meeting it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea on economic development are developing and deepening.

The members of Korean delegation were briefed about structural reforms of economy of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek model of transition to market economy.

Officials of the State Property Committee provided information to the Korean side on investment climate, created for businesses, and good examples of cooperation with Korean investments, including at the Navoi free industrial and economic zone and cooperation with Korea Stock Exchange on modernization of the securities market of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that Uzbekistan pays great attention to improvement of legal base and development of draft laws on guarantees, preferences and protection of rights of small and private businesses.

At the end of the meeting, the head of Koreand delegation highly rated economic and social reforms in Uzbekistan, and expressed gratitude for warm welcome and provided information.
