The delegation included deputy head of Russia Federal Archive Agency Vladimir Tarasov and director of Russian State Archive of cinema-image documents Natalya Kalantarova.

During the visit, the delegation visited Uzarchive agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, which carries out centralized management archive affairs in the country. During the negotiations, the sides exchanged information on current state of archive business and development of trends.

The Russian officials also familiarized with the work of the Central state archive of Uzbekistan, state archives of Bukhara, Navoi and Samarkand regions.

According to Uzarchive, the sides expressed intention to raise cooperation level between archive services of Uzbekistan and Russia.
