According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, the visit of the Russian delegation took place in the framework of a Memorandum on technical cooperation between the Federal Treasury of Russia and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic Uzbekistan, signed during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Russian Federation in April 2017.

The Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting, where the parties thoroughly discussed topical issues of further development and deepening of bilateral relations, as well as exchanged views on implementation of international standards and high technologies.

Presentations were made by the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Treasury of the Russian Federation.

The delegation of the Federal Treasury of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the activities of the Treasury Department of Samarkand region, where in real time procedures for registering contracts and paying expenses of budgetary organizations were demonstrated.

As a result of the meetings, the Joint Action Plan of the Federal Treasury of Russia and the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the second half of 2017 was developed.
