The delegation included the director of international exchange programs of Daegu Haany University Byun Kyinam, the coordinator of international exchange programs Da-Eun Lee and the professor of Aviation Services Department Myung-Soon Sung.

Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Sarvar Babakhodjaev welcomed the delegation from the South Korean university. During the meeting, IUT rector briefed the guests about the activities of Inha University in Tashkent on training highly skilled specialists for various sectors of the economy, including IT professionals.

The guests were also acquainted with the conditions, created for the students and professors of the university, as well as plans to expand the educational programs and launch the master’s program.

Representatives of Daegu Haany University, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, underlined that the South Korean university was opened 36 years ago.

Initially, the university specialized in training specialists in the field of oriental medicine. Now, the university offers educational programs in such areas as healthcare, tourism, business and information, architecture and design, etc.

The delegation of Daegu Haany University said that the university intends to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan and attract students to study in the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of establishing cooperation in perspective areas of cooperation. Representatives of two universities agreed to continue discuss issues of launching academic programs of Daegu Haany University in Uzbekistan, as well as exchanging the students and professors.
