The delegation included advisor on commercial and economic issues of the Embassy, representatives of SNC Lavalin Eurasia, Bombardier, Phoenix, Foster Wheeler, Sitara International, the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce said.

The meeting participants considered perspectives of investment and trade-economic cooperation between Canada and Uzbekistan, perspective directions of investment cooperation with Uzbekistan, etc.

The sides also discussed investment climate in Uzbekistan and cooperation in implementation of high technologic projects at free industrial-economic zone Navoi and special industrial zone Angren, perspectives of participation of Canadian firms in oil and gas, as well as chemistry industries.

The sides reached agreement on further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Canada.
