Traditionally industrial forum is held in two stages each year. The industrial fair is organized in regional and industrial stages in the first phase. During the fair, the participants sign agreements on supply of this year and upcoming year.

About 2,700 large and small enterprises participated at the first stage of the fair in 2012. They signed agreements for supply of goods for 400 billion soums and export agreements worth US$2666 million.

The second stage – main event – of the forum was held in Tashkent on 23-27 October 2012. Some 1,146 local and 850 small businesses participated at the forum.

They represent such areas as mining, automobile agriculture, electronics, pharmaceuticals, light industry, polygraph, transport, electrotechnics, chemistry and others. It was also attended by 1,100 companies from 51 countries – Germany, Great Britain, South Korea, India, Japan, CIS, etc.

Overall, they demonstrated over 11,000 types of localized import-replacing products. Some 900 of them were commissioned in last several years.

The ministry said that agreements for 5 trillion soums were signed at the fair and export contracts for US$5.2 billion.
