Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of work on interaction with compatriots, promotion of cultural values and art of our country abroad, Days of Uzbek culture in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area (Russia) were organized. A concert performance of a creative group from Namangan region took place in the city of Nyagan.

A musical program with Uzbek national songs and dances was presented to the participants of the event, including representatives of the city administration, public organizations, local residents and media workers.

Great interest among the guests of the festival was caused by a wealth of information about the history and culture of the Uzbek people, the country's tourism potential.

As part of the event, a tournament on Uzbek kurash was held, the winners of which received valuable gifts from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the city of Yekaterinburg and the Uzbek diaspora of the city.
