Representatives of regional administration on economic issues, chairperson of the Commerce Chamber, MPs of lower house of Parliament, academic circles, and businesses participated at the event.

Within the event, the presentation of social-economic development of Uzbekistan, investment climate, including at Navoi free industrial and economic zone, as well as tourism potential were presented. At the same time, the exhibition of folk and applied art of Uzbekistan was held as well, Jahon news agency reported.

Participants also received information on achievements of Uzbekistan in various areas, perspective investment projects, offered to realization with attraction of foreign direct investments.

The organizers presented information on current trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and Italy, preference for foreign investors at Navoi free industrial and economic zone, as well as the State Programme “The Year of Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship”.
