The event was organized for the first time in Uzbekistan and allowed the Uzbek audience to familiarize with Korean cartoons. The event was dedicated to the first anniversary of launch of Korean corner at Alisher Navoi Library.

A cartoon “Leafie, A Hen into the Wild” (Madangeul Naon Amtak) was shown within the event. The participants also had chance to taste Korean cuisine.

Embassy of Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan noted that it is planning to organize similar events in future as well to familiarize Uzbek people with Korean culture and develop mutual understanding between two nations.
