Day of Daniel Pearl world music to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A day of Daniel Pearl world music will be held in Tashkent on 4 October 2013. The Day of Daniel Pearl world music is a chain of musical events, which are held in October and dedicated to humanity and understanding via music.

Since 2002, some 10,000 musical plays were held worldwide, of which 129 were dedicated to the heritage of journalist Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and killed in Pakistan on 11 September 2001. Daniel was talented musician, who united people via music.

The concert will be attended by music bands Sogdiana, Sanam and Jadoo. The concert will be held at the US Embassy in Tashkent. The entry is free.
