Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The inauguration of the newly elected President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take place on 14 July 2023 in Tashkent. The event will be held during the meeting of both chambers of the country’s parliament.

A joint meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the inauguration of the elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will be held on 14 July 2023, the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis said a statement.

In the early presidential elections in Uzbekistan, held on 9 July, Shavkat Mirziyoyev won 87.05% of the vote.
