DATA+ enters to market of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- DATA+, a leading Russian supplier of technologies, products and solutions for creating geographic information system (GIS), entered into market of Uzbekistan.

The company said it inked partnership agreement with SIDA Technology, which renders full-scale services on GIS creation in Uzbekistan.

SIDA Technology also became official distributor of ArcGIS software, signing corresponding agreement with ESRI CIS, exclusive partner of ESRI software in Russia and CIS states.

For ESRI CIS and DATA+», this is step is connected with the fact that Uzbekistan is the most perspective region, considering scale of GIS introduction and use of ArcGIS software.

Currently, Uzbekistan developed and ready to implement large State Programme on GIS introduction. The programme envisages creation of several National Industrial Cadastre, using single technologic platform, single system construction and exploitation principles, as well as rendering services to consumers.

In line with announced plans, the programme implementation with start with creation of Cadastre for communication objects, which will follow by Cadastre for transport, Cadastre for nature, Cadastre for Land and others. Overall, 18 such systems will be created, but their number can increase.

It is worth to note that Uzbekistan selected ArcGIS as standard at creation of GIS at the state establishments. This decision was adopted after studying world experience and implementation of GIS projects in Uzbekistan.

DATA+ and SIDA Technology also will create educational center for training of specialists. DATA+ will help its new partner to introduce teaching methods and hand over educational programmes ESRI to prepare certified specialists on ArcGIS and use of GIS technologies. DATA+ will help its new partner to integration projects in the country.
