Sarbast Plus JV, largest brewery in Central Asia, renamed its name to UzCarlsberg JV LLC on 10 October. The move was connected with purchase of Сarlsberg Group of the Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH) this April. Now Сarlsberg Group owns all assets of the BBH, including Sarbast.
The release said the website was created in identical platform of Сarlsberg Group, which received prestigious award among 19 leading corporate websites of Denmark in 2007. Over 1,000 users praised the website on such parameters as design and usability in online poll of the Børsen daily business edition. It added that the new website is the first pilot project outside Europe.
Farhod Niyazov, corporate relations director of Carlsberg Uzbekistan, said: “Along with accession to the Calsberg Group and change of corporate name, we decided that the virtual face of the company should meet latest international standards. Terms and quality of work on website development satisfied us. I would like underline some parameters - improved interface, regular updated news database, full information on company, its history and brands. At the same time, the website is in three languages. We have some courageous tasks for our region, which we want to achieve in near future.”
