Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association Fakhriddin Boboev met with Christian Aachmann, CEO of the Danish company Auluna Private Lable. The main topic of negotiations is the organization of production of eco-leather products in Uzbekistan.

Auluna Private Lable was founded in 1965 in Denmark and today is an online retailer of eco-leather and textile clothing in Scandinavia and Germany. The company’s manufacturing facilities are located in China. Due to the complexity of logistics, goods reach Europe in an average of 6-7 weeks. In this regard, the company is looking for a new location for organizing production. Uzbekistan is currently the main candidate.

As the investor emphasized, he had heard about the dynamic development of the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan, and he intended to transfer part of the production from China to Uzbekistan. To this end, Christian Aachmann conducts a comprehensive study of the business environment of our country and the logistics features of the region.

The plans include mastering the production of eco-leather outerwear. The investor also put forward an initiative to create in Denmark, together with the Uzcharmsanoat association, a showroom presenting footwear products manufactured in Uzbekistan, as well as to organize an online platform for selling products in the countries of the Scandinavian Peninsula.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on a detailed development of a plan for the creation of production of eco-leather products in Uzbekistan.
