Dangerous bacteria found in Fix Dessert Chocolatier chocolate
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Dangerous bacteria harmful to human health have been discovered in chocolate products of the Fix Dessert Chocolatier brand sold in Uzbekistan. This information was provided by the Inspectorate for Control in the Field of Technical Regulation under the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation following laboratory tests.
As part of a quality control effort, samples of Fix Dessert Chocolatier chocolate products, manufactured in Dubai and sold at retail outlets of the Eco Bozor branch in the Beruniy district, were purchased for inspection. The selected items were sent to the O'zTest testing laboratory for quality assessment.
The results of the tests revealed several violations. The products contained high levels of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms (TAMC), as well as yeast fungi.
In addition, bacteria from the Escherichia coli group (coliforms) and Salmonella were detected in 25-gram samples, which constitutes a severe breach of regulatory standards. These indicators pose a serious health threat and may cause allergic reactions.
Moreover, the appearance of the product did not meet the requirements of the technical regulations. Specifically, violations were found regarding food product labeling standards, in accordance with the general technical regulations UzTR.490-022:2017.
