Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 14 to 16 September, Khiva will host the annual International Festival “Raqs Sehri” (“Magic of Dance”), which will bring together professionals and artists in the field of dance and music, music, theater and dance groups from Uzbekistan and various countries of the world, representatives of ministries and departments of the republic, the media, as well as residents and guests of the country.

The organizers of the festival are the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism, the Khokimiyat of Khorezm Region and the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.

As part of the festival’s rich program, there will be concerts and theatrical performances, fairs of handicrafts and fine arts, a scientific and practical conference, tasting of Khorezm cuisine, master classes and much more.

The grand opening of the traditional festival will take place on Saturday, 14 September.

At the end of the event, a gala concert and an awarding ceremony for the participants of the festival will be held.
