Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Dagestan agreed on the mutual opening of trading houses to strengthen friendly ties. The corresponding proposals were discussed at a meeting by the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov with the Governor of Bukhara region of Uzbekistan Botir Zaripov, TASS reports.

“The parties talked about the organization of joint production and mutual supplies of agricultural products, the mutual opening of trading houses in the republics with the presentation of their products, cooperation and exchange of experience in the tourism sector,” the press service of the Dagestan government reported on Thursday.

The Uzbek side is showing interest in the supply of vegetables, fruits, nuts, meat, eggs, dairy and other products.

“We support proposals for opening trading houses in your and our republics; preliminary, there are already interesting ideas for products that can be offered from our side. We are also interested in opening a store with products from Uzbekistan, including taking into account the availability of direct flights to Makhachkala from Tashkent and Bukhara, and the development of friendly relations between our republics,” the press service quotes Abdulmuslimov.
