Director of Library Asadjon Hodjaev and his deputy ALisher Ishmatov, as well as other employees of the library helped the Czech guests to familiarize with the library. The guests visited halls of library and museums, which includes ancient Quran and books.

National Library of Uzbekistan is equipped with modern technologies. The library currently works on digitalizing books.

Czech Ambassador handed over two copies of the book “The Good Soldier Švejk” by Czech writer Jaroslav Hašek, which was issued in Uzbek and illustrated by Uzbek painter and designer Stepan Evdokimov.
