This was the first visit of envoy to Karakalpakstan. In Nukus, Ambassador met with the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Karakalpakstan Orazymbet Kurbanov. The sides discussed opportunities of trade cooperation with the Czech firms and businesses, as well as investment opportunities. He also visited State Art Museum of Karakalpakstan named after Igor Savitsky.

Czech Hynek Pejcha also familiarized with problems related to Aral Sea catastrophe and its impact to local population. This was connected with visit of Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Czech Republic Juraj Chmiel, who visited Karakalpakstan in 2011. Juraj Chmiel visited Nukus and Muinak, former fishing center, at the coast of Aral Sea.

Several years ago, Czech Republic financed construction of water cleaning stations and technical water at children TB clinics in Nukus city, installation of water supply system to ensure clean water to children of the clinics. Czech Republic allocated 550,000 euros to finance the project from the budget of Ministry of Agriculture. PROTÉ of Czech Republic supplied and assembled the equipment.

Hynek Pejcha also paid visit to Nukus center, including Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan and renovated State musical theatre named after Berdah.

He also visited State Art Museum of Karakalpakstan named after Igor Savitsky and familiarized with its collection. The museum owns the second largest collection of Russian avant-guard objects. The museum owns 90,000 exhibits and large number of foreign tourists visit it annually.
