Czech consortium to help Uzbekenergo to build billing system
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Czech consortium, consisting of INEKON POWER and SITRONICS TS, and Uzbekenergo state joint stock company signed a memorandum of strategic partnership on realization of the single center and billing system and general agreement on introduction of this system.
INEKON POWER said the consortium plans to realize the project tentatively in the third quarter of 2010. The concrete terms and total project cost will be agreed with the Uzbek company.
The project envisages creation of the Single Center for management of automatized system on commercial accounting and consumption of electricity (ASCCE) and organizing work of the Center on automatized payment system (billing). The project will be realized within a year.
Uzbekenergo is planning to introduce ASCCE at its enterprises by the end of 2010. The project cost is US$34.8 million. The project will help to save electricity in housing sector.
