Cyclists of Uzbekistan win 4 gold and 3 silver medals in the Asian Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Asian Cycling Cup was held in India from 9 to 11 September. It is noteworthy that the national team of Uzbekistan took second place in the team standings.

At the junior competitions, our athletes won 2 gold and 2 silver medals.

In particular, Behzodbek Rakhimboev from Khorezm showed himself to be the best on the continent in the form of scratches and a points race and won gold medals in both directions.

Yanina Kuskova from Syrdarya, who took third place in the world ranking, was awarded silver medals in the pursuit and scratch match.

Among adult cyclists, Renata Baymetova won the gold medal in the individual pursuit race among adults.

Another compatriot Murojon Kholmuratov won another gold and 200 points for the Tokyo Olympics with 41 points.

The last medal of the national team was won by Dilmurod Siddikov. Our compatriot won a silver medal in the omni direction. This result also gives our athlete 180 points for the Tokyo Olympics.
