During inspection of people, heading to neighboring states, the customs officers of Navoi custom post in Tashkent region detained Bukhara region’s citizen M. Isaeva. She did not show 11 gold jewelries for 2 million soums in customs declaration. She hided jewelry in her headscarf.

Similar criminal case has been recorded at G’isht-Kuprik customs complex of Tashkent region. During inspection of citizen G.Akmaldinova, who was heading to neighboring state, the customs officers found 150 gr. gold jewelry for over 7 million soums.

Citizen of foreign state M.Eltaeva has been detained in the same post. She has been trying to smuggle jewelry products for 2.5 million soums.

During customs inspection of Delhi-Tashkent flight, the customs officers of Tashkent airport seized 100 gr. Gold products for 3 million soums from citizen of Bukhara region.

Bukhara region’s citizen S. Kurbanova also lost gold products for over 10 million soums for similar violation.

Customs investigations are underway on these cases.
