CSTO Foreign Ministers hold informal meeting in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Informal session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held in Moscow, Russia, on 25 March 2010.
Participants reviewed implementation of the decisions of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO and preparation to its next session in June 2010.
The sides exchanged opinion on current state and further steps on coordination of foreign politics. In particular, the sides discussed measures on consolidation of support initiative of Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairmanship in 2010.
Ministers also considered current state and perspectives of developments in Afghanistan and around it and underlined necessity to increase efforts in Afghan direction.
Next meeting of the CSTO Foreign Ministers will be held on the eve of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
