During his visit, the CSTO chief met the leadership of Uzbekistan, including defence ministry, foreign affairs ministry, National Security Services, parliament and other agencies of the country.

The sides considered issues on military cooperation within the organization and internal affairs of the organization, including political cooperation, foreign political activity and participation of Uzbekistan in the process.

Bordyuzha said there was need to discuss cooperation within the organization in fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, formation of potential on collective response during natural and man-caused emergency situations.
