Criminal wanted for committing fraud on a large scale extradited from Poland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan carried out a procedure for the extradition of a criminal who is on the international wanted list for committing fraud. This was reported by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Thanks to the joint active interaction of the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Warsaw, the extradition to the Republic of Uzbekistan of a criminal arrested in March 2022 in Poland as a person involved in the Red Notice of Interpol, wanted by our law enforcement officers for fraud, took place.

The wanted man, for several years, knowing that the victim wanted to leave for work in South Korea, offered his services in processing documents and obtaining permission to enter the country, for which all these services had to be paid. Many people suffered at the hands of a fraudster.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that the criminal, having appropriated all these funds and not fulfilling his obligations, managed to hide abroad, thanks to the joint actions of the NCB of Interpol in Tashkent and Warsaw, the wanted man was identified and detained.

After satisfying the petition of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for extradition, accompanied by Interpol officers, the offender was recently brought to Uzbekistan to stand trial.
