Credit Standard Bank sums up its activities for nine months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Open joint stock commercial bank Credit Standard (Credit Standard Bank) summed up the activity of the bank for nine months of 2010.

The bank said its assets rose by 26.8 billion soums (10.8%) in January-September 2010 and reached to 273.4 billion soums.

The deposit resources grew by 19.2% and reached 141.1 billion soums as of 1 October 2010. Net income of the bank reached 6.7 billion soums in the reporting period. The corporate clientele base increased 16%.

Within programme on development of cashless payments, the bank issued 15,733 soum cards in January-September. It also emitted 100 hard currency VISA cards (+72) and realized 141 salary projects in the reporting period. The bank also installed 96 POS-terminals at trade-service points.

In the third quarter, Credit Standard Bank started to introduce mobile terminals, which are convenient for use at restaurants, cafes, public transport and taxi. Overall number of transactions with banking cards made up 3,297,660 units in nine months of 2010.

Credit Standard Bank was founded on 16 August 2010 with the charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. Headquarters of the bank is located in Tashkent. Equity capital of the bank makes up 32.5 billion soums.
