Credit Standard Bank resumes work with Faster money transfer system
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Open joint stock commercial bank Credit Standard (Credit Standard Bank) resumed its work with the Faster international money transfer system, the bank said in a statement on 15 December 2010.

The Uzbek bank said that Faster money transfer system is attractive due to low tariffs and opportunity to carry out remittances in US dollars and euros.

The Faster money transfer system allows individuals to transfer remittance in a minute on beneficial tariff plans up to 2%.

Currently, Faster system works in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and Great Britain. The system has over 200 service points in CIS states and abroad.

Credit Standard Bank has started to join remittance systems from 2003 and now it is member of Western Union, XpressMoney, Migom, Anelik, Unistream, Contact, Bystraya Pochta and Allyur. The Uzbek bank also inked agreement with Sberbank of Russia on sending money transfers within Russia. Overall, the bank renders money transfer services at 10 systems.

Faster system is Kazakh system on international money transfer, which was developed by BTA Bank. The system was launched in September 2006 and Credit Standard Bank joined it in June 2008.

Credit Standard Bank was founded on 16 August 2010 with the charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. Headquarters of the bank is located in Tashkent. Assets of the bank made up 224.1 billion soums and equity capital of the bank makes up 34.8 billion soums as of 1 December 2010.
