The document will give new impulse for implementation of joint project in scientific-research sector, organization of conferences and roundtables, exchange of experts.

CPS is currently only think tank in the Central Asian region, which has memorandum with the Japan International Relations Institute.

The memorandum was signed in the result of roundtables “Regional security in Central Asia as factor of supporting global stability” and “Perspectives of developing energy in Central Asia”.

The events were held on 19-20 September 2011 by the CPS at the support of Uzbekistan Embassy in Japan and Fund Forum within the grant of Japan Foundation. The CPS, led by Gulnara Karimova, won grants of Japan Foundation two times since 2009.
