Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 6 June, a meeting was held between officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Secretary General of the French Association for the Training of Specialists in the Field of Tourism (CFET) - Anne Massico Carloc, head of the French Institute for the Development of Tourism (IFDT) - Vincent Fayol, Representative of the Department of Research and Higher Education of France for Tourism of the Institute of Educational Institutions - Jean-Michel Chapeau and Director of International Relations of the Higher Educational Institution of France "Y SCHOOLS" Antoine Guillemot.

During the meeting, the issue of establishing cooperation between the Ducasse School of France and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in the field of restaurant business and culinary education with tourism colleges of the Samarkand region and the city of Tashkent was discussed.

Agreements were also reached on the training of specialists in the field of tourism (CFET) with the French Association with the allocation from the 2023-2024 academic year of separate quotas for Uzbek students to study in the master's program in the field of tourism, organizing mutual internships for students and teachers.
