Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Olympic Committees (NOC) of Uzbekistan and the UAE signed a memorandum of cooperation today. The event, held in Dubai, was attended by the General Secretaries of both Committees, Oybek Kasimov and Azza bint Suleiman.

According to the plan, the countries will cooperate more closely in areas such as sports management, sports medicine, as well as the main and youth teams will conduct joint preparations for major complex competitions. In addition, they will exchange experience on improving the existing infrastructure.

In a conversation, Azza bint Suleiman noted that Uzbek sport occupies a high position not only on the continent, but also in the world, and stressed that bilateral cooperation will contribute to a more intensive development of countries in the sports field. 

In turn, Oybek Kasimov also praised the sport of the UAE, noting that cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of this country will have a positive result in the further development of Uzbek sports.
