Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 August, within the framework of the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation, the Central Bank, together with the IT Park, conducted a training on digital financial literacy in order to train more than 60 teachers and employees of regional IT centers from 12 regions, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the city of Tashkent.

The implementation of the project provides for the inclusion of the “Digital Financial Literacy” module in the advanced course “Computer Literacy” in 14 regional IT centers from August 2023.

As part of the training, the participants were explained in detail the basic concepts of digital banking services, the procedure for calculating interest, responsible borrowing, a positive credit history, financial security rules. In addition, the developed program includes practical exercises on the use of three digital educational resources:

- online deposit/loan calculators on the Finlit website;

- information portal of financial services of commercial banks for individuals Bankxizmatlari;

- a unified electronic platform for family business development programs Oilakredit.
