Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 August 2023, as part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Azerbaijan, 15 documents were adopted at the level of states, governments and departments of the two countries.

Among them, an agreement was reached between the Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Rights Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Service for Antimonopoly and Control of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Thanks to this transaction, mutual cooperation has been established in the following areas:

— legal protection of competition;

— control over the consumer market;

— protection of the rights and interests of consumers;

— regulation of the advertising market;

— control of safety and quality of goods (works, services) and many others.
