Consumers of Uzbekistan receive 40.1bn K.W.H. electricity in 2009
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekenergo state joint-stock company supplied 40.1 billion K.W.H. electricity (up 0.9%) electricity in 2009 and 8.2 million gigacalories of thermal energy in 2009, the company’s press service said.
In 2009, the volume of goods production made up 2.43 trillion soums in 2009 in the industry against 2.406 trillion soums, the press service said.
Uzbekenergo utilized capital investments for 572.8 billion soums within the investment programme due to all finance sources.
Within the investment programme in 2009, the company completed construction 500 kilovolt Uzbekistan substation with high voltage line “Novo-Angren thermal power station – Uzbekistan substation”, 500 kilovolt high voltage line “Guzar substation – Surkhan substation” and others. Uzbekenergo said it is adopting measures on speeding up realization of invest projects, envisaged in programme on realization of projects on modernization and re-equipment for 2009-2014 and other decisions of the government.
