Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to prevent cases of illegal import, production and sale of products, and ensure legal circulation of goods, starting from 2021 in the republic, certain types of products are gradually labeled.

Today, the following types of products are acceptable for sale and are subject to mandatory digital labeling:

tobacco products and alcohol products;

brewing products;

Appliances;

medicines and medical products.

When purchasing these products, pay attention to the presence of labeling and do not forget to check its authenticity in the Soliq mobile application. This will prevent you from purchasing illegal and low-quality goods.

To check the presence of digital markings, go to the “General Services” section of the application and select “Check Markings”. At the bottom of the window that opens, click on the “Datamatrix scanner” icon and point to the labeling code printed on the product.

If the code is genuine, the following information is displayed on the screen:

Notification “Code is genuine”;

Name of product;

Product status (produced, in the process of sale or sold);

Manufacturer and date of production;

Date of purchase by wholesaler;

Sale to the final consumer (date and name of the business entity).

The “Code is not genuine” notification indicates a violation of digital marking rules.

If you identify incorrect digital markings or their absence, send a request to the tax authorities through the “Tax Partner”.

Business entities engaged in the retail sale of products with digital markings are required to use special devices (2D scanners, data collection terminals or other types of special devices) connected to online cash registers and virtual cash registers, ensuring correct reading and identification of barcodes and digital marking codes.
