Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul has issued a warning expressing concern about the spread of advertisements through social media for schools targeting Uzbek children, operating under the name of certain foreign countries.
The consulate noted that while religious education at these institutions is based on the teachings of Ahlu as-Sunnah, some instructors might instill in students religious views that contradict moderate Islam. This could potentially lead to ideological conflicts within society in the future.
In light of this, the consulate strongly advises parents to be vigilant and to prevent their minor children from being exposed to fanatical views in such schools.
