Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 September 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted consular consultations between the heads of consular services from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for strengthening and developing cooperation between their consular services. They addressed issues related to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of both countries.

The agenda included an exchange of views on cooperation in migration, justice, and the mutual transfer of statistical data and information regarding civil status acts, as well as the further expansion of the legal framework.

Special attention was given to establishing direct interaction between the authorized bodies of both sides on various issues of mutual interest.
