Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Resolution on measures for high-quality and timely implementation of this Strategy, from 1 January 2024:
- the practice of transplanting hematopoietic bone marrow stem cells to children suffering from oncohematological diseases is being introduced;
- treatment of patients suffering from viral hepatitis C and children suffering from cancer who require hematopoietic bone marrow stem cell transplantation will be carried out entirely at the expense of the State budget.
- from 1 October 2023, a procedure for conducting “social services cases” will be introduced separately for each family that finds itself in a difficult life situation or with a high risk of ending up in such a situation.
From 1 January 2024:
- in medical institutions of the city of Tashkent, state health insurance mechanisms are being gradually introduced, providing for the introduction of a state-guaranteed volume of free medical services and a list of medicines;
- work to provide persons with disabilities with prosthetic and orthopedic, rehabilitation and medicines is organized in stages on the basis of a “voucher” system;
- a procedure is being introduced for the state to cover the costs of preparing women who find themselves in a difficult social situation for professions.
The resolution approved the Plan of practical activities within the framework of the Strategy “Uzbekistan - 2030” and the creation of decent conditions for realizing the potential of every person.
It provides, inter alia, the following:
- introduction of computer literacy lessons from 1st grade in schools;
- sending up to 5 thousand professors and teachers to exchange experience, up to 200 young scientists to foreign scientific organizations on a competitive basis;
- creation of the Jadid Museum in Bukhara.
