Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 August, the Competition and Consumer Protection Committee of Uzbekistan issued directives to all television channels in the country regarding compliance with advertising legislation.

The Committee highlighted a recent increase in violations of legal requirements related to television advertising.

TV channels have been instructed to align their advertising content with legislative standards within one month and review its content.

The Committee warned that financial penalties may be imposed if violations are detected.
