Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Competition and Consumer Protection Committee of Uzbekistan has initiated a case against JSC Uzbekneftegaz for violating the "Competition Law."

During an inspection of procurement activities on the electronic platform, committee specialists identified violations of Article 29 of the "Competition Law" and Regulation No. 225, approved by a Cabinet of Ministers decree. These violations were related to the conduct of two tenders for best offers totaling 4.8 billion sums.

The committee noted that additional information will be provided following the review of the case in the established procedure and the issuance of a decision.
