Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee of Uzbekistan has initiated a case against the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.
This action follows discussions on social media regarding a tender worth 1.28 billion soums.
The tender involves the creation of new websites “qadriyatim.uz” (“My Value”) and “tanlov.manaviyat.uz” (competition on the manaviyat.uz website), as well as mobile applications and an official web portal for the center, which already has an existing website.
The Committee conducted an investigation and determined that the tender conditions might violate the requirements of Article 29 of the Competition Law, which pertains to competition restrictions in procurement.
