Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Decree “On additional measures to improve the processes of labor migration and support for persons carrying out temporary labor activities abroad” was adopted.

Accordin to document, from 1 June 2024, citizens who have registered in the electronic labor migration software package “Xorijda ish” and go on organized labor migration will be paid compensation to cover expenses related to:

- with passing a qualifying exam in foreign languages and (or) professions - up to three sizes of the basic estimated value, subject to successful passing of the exam and receipt of a certificate;

- with the issuance of a “work visa” for carrying out work activities abroad - up to five sizes of the basic estimated value;

- with the purchase of a travel ticket - up to two sizes of the basic estimated value.

Insurance organizations will be paid a subsidy to cover the insurance premium for life and health insurance, as well as other risks of citizens from families recognized as low-income through the information system "Unified Register of Social Protection", or included in the "Iron Notebook", "Women’s Notebook" or "Youth notebook” and those going on organized labor migration – once a year in the amount of up to 50,000 soums for each insured citizen.

Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have been subjected to violence, forced labor and discrimination, whose labor and other rights have been violated, who find themselves in a difficult financial situation, who are left without identity documents, without means of subsistence while working abroad, will, in the prescribed manner, be paid for the services of a lawyer, organizations providing legal services, or human rights organizations.
